The Laramie Plains Civic Center (LPCC) is seeking passionate, community-minded individuals to join our Board of Directors. The board meets monthly, with occasional additional committee meetings or events. The total time commitment is approximately 5–8 hours per month.

Board members typically serve two-year terms, with an option for renewal if mutually agreed upon.
Q: Are board members expected to donate?
We encourage board members to contribute in ways that are meaningful to them. While financial contributions are appreciated, they are not required. Your time, expertise, and advocacy are equally valuable.

Q: What does the election process look like?
The LPCC follows a structured election process for selecting new board members. After reviewing applications, the Nominating Committee will evaluate candidates based on their qualifications and alignment with our mission. Selected candidates may be invited to meet with current board leadership or attend a board meeting as a guest. Final selections are made by a vote of the existing board members. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee election to the Board of Directors.
The Laramie Plains Civic Center reserves the right to review all applications thoroughly and may decline any application that does not align with the organization’s mission, values, or current needs. Applicants will be notified of the status of their application following the review process.
