Conference Room
Private Board Room for Small Group Meetings
The Conference Room is located on the second floor of the Laramie Plains Civic Center, best accessed through the East building entrance. This public facility can accommodate small groups for private board meetings, planning sessions, and collaborative gatherings.
THE NORTH “KENNY SAILORS” GYM
Mixed-use space for group fitness, events, and drop-in use
The North “Kenny Sailors” Gym is located on the first floor of the Laramie Plains Civic Center and is best accessed through the North entrance. This public facility, dedicated to Laramie’s beloved inventor of the jump shot and former student from the building’s days as a school, hosts open gym hours for free public access and is best used for group fitness, intramural activities, and mid-sized events.
THE SOUTH GYM
Spacious historic gymnasium for group sports & events
The South Gym is located on the first floor of the Laramie Plains Civic Center, best accessed through the large South entrance. This public facility is LPCC’s largest space and is best used for intramural activities, group sports, and high-capacity events.
THE PHOENIX BALLROOM
Versatile Event Space for Parties & Events
The Phoenix Ballroom is located on the second floor of the Laramie Plains Civic Center, best accessed through the Northwest building entrance. This public facility can accommodate a variety of events, such as music performances, theater productions, lectures, meetings, birthdays, graduations, weddings, and religious services.
THE WORKSHOP
Community Arts Space & Artist Studios
The Workshop and Artist Studios space is located on the first floor of the Laramie Plains Civic Center, best accessed through the red double doors on 7th Street. This space houses communal and private artist studio spaces, in addition to a collaborative workshop table for events and workshops.
THE GRYPHON THEATRE
Historic performance venue with modern production amenities
The Gryphon Theatre is located on the first floor of the Laramie Plains Civic Center, best accessed through the North building entrance. This performance venue hosts numerous events, including local and touring music, theatre, dance, and film. Learn more about upcoming events here.
